I love this. Happy first day in Budapest. Did the BW like the drink? And if you walked around the neighborhood after dark, you must've felt very safe there. Your photos show a fairly active street life after dark. That helps. While I'm looking forward to more about your trip, don't spend too much time writing and not enjoying the trip itself.

I am sure jumping time zones and hectic schedules will take a toll. Don't forget to get some rest before heading out again. I am enjoying the pictures.

Thanks Paul~! We did take a nap at noon before going back out. Heading out again shortly for an evening tour.

She learned Hungarian and spoke it very well. Eventually she used only Hungarian ladies in waiting so they could chat secretly in the language! They love her here~!

Love the pictures - how are you doing with the language over there? Can’t wait to see more!

Language not a problem so far, Hungarian is so difficult! We try to learn a word or two but they evaporate! Everyone does English. Even the Russians in the coffee shop today were speaking English to the Hungarian waiter.
