The GEM should be elevated to some modern version of a “Wonder of the World”.

Thank you, David, for providing us with a detailed description of what you were seeing and feeling as well as the history. I wish we could've been able to smell the aromas, feel the sunlight, and listen to the languages, the birdsong, the echoes of voices within the temples, pyramids, and museums. Epic on all scales. Thank you for giving us a vivid piece of your adventures.

I agree with having the best for last. It gave more respect to the museum after seeing all the other sights. If you only had a few days there I am afraid you wouldn't appreciate the museum like you (and I) did. Have a safe trip home. I have really enjoyed your trip.

What a fabulous museum and I agree with you those three items should be there (and the Elgin marbles to Greece). The insight we've got from you into life in Egypt then and now is better than most tv shows be they popular or history. You've gev us a sense of connection to the people.

Statues in museum look gigantic. Ten feet or more?

Yes the entrance has some big ones. But also lots of smaller things. Just wanted to give a general overview as there are way too many great objects to describe.
