Delos is a must. Here's something to make to keep you refreshed, rehydrated in heat: Kept Roman Soldiers on the move for many marches.
Posca: Provides calories, Vit C, energy, acidity kills harmful bacteria.
Combine: 1½ cups of vinegar with ½ cup of honey, 1 tablespoon of crushed coriander seed (1/2 tsp tumeric ) and 4 cups of water. The mixture should be boiled in a saucepan to dissolve the honey before being allowed to cool. After straining out the coriander seeds, it can used to refill your drinking water container and drink throughout the day.
I don't know why you have not scheduled a side trip from Naxos to Delos. You want the cradle of life. More than enough pictures to excite the imagination. I look forward to your journey. .Hardly any time in Greece. Have a Mythos beer for me.
Mrs Zoll is right. No need to take even the kitchen sink,as the old saying goes. I wish I could resist the urge to take one more thing. The things you took you never used, the one thing you left at home would have come in handy! I hope you have wonderful weather all through your voyage but especially at Bath,as I hope you see Britain at its best. In sunshine. I know you do excellent research into places so I hope you get the best value out of your Bath stay. Im doing one more Visit Bath before July and it's to The American Museum. Did you know there is that place at Bath? I'll tell you about it and you can all decide to go or not. I dont understand all that about the Sun. How can that be? Very odd! I love that you are not just schlepping your grandkids from identical place to identical place,y'know even Paris has the Golden Arches, but showing them TRAVEL,the getting there is part of the experience. Have a fantastic time whole Zoll family.

You had me with the honey. Sounds good. I might try it.

I agree Richard! We are planning a day trip to Mykonos and Delos unless it’s brutally hot. Been there before and want to return!
Bon voyage, David and BW!
Keep the travel log going. Enjoyment to read as Jill and I prep for retirement.
Will do Don!
It appears there are two choices. Hot or really hot. Maybe you should have waited till the earth is not so close to the sun.
It’s hot now for sure!

Looking forward to your review of the American Museum! Thanks for the note!
